I’m Alive!

This post is for you who have survived hardship. You are still breathing. You are alive!

I love Sia’s new song “Alive,” especially this lyrical video:

And if that wasn’t an awesome enough check out the non-lyrical version.  Talk about fierce! My jaw was on the floor when I watched this. The precision and control. She is so young! This little girl is just amazing.

  1. I am so loving these Bitstrips creations you’re making…they give me this mental image of you which is hard to get from a blog.

Love the song too! I never thought I could leave religion and survive, but I’m here and still breathing. 🙂

    1. I’m glad you like the Bitstrip images. It’s so fun! I’m not nearly as cute in real life, however.

Yeah, I can relate to the song in so many ways, but leaving religion is one of them. This song is so empowering and makes me feel truly free.

  2. “I had a one-way ticket to a place where all the demons go
    Where the wind don’t change
And nothing in the ground can ever grow
    No hope, just lies
And you’re taught to cry in your pillow
    But I survived”

Oh my. I can so relate to this. The despair was suffocating. And this is more than just one part of life. Three different parts. Falling one by one to truth and using the key I already had to unlock the chains.

Is that you in the second vid? No… she’s too tall. (you asked for it!)

As for the header pic, the Zeus-ette look is killer.

Great post, Q. I’m over here cheering you on.

    1. He he, Zeus-ette! I like that.

You know — I just might kick you! And, no, that’s not me in the video. She is way too talented! I need to get me a Sia wig, though. The black/blonde combo is pretty interesting.

      Thanks for the cheers! 😊
